NHS St Helens CCG TALKFEST Engagement Sessions

13/07/2021

NHS St Helens CCG is pleased to announce that their TALKFEST engagement sessions are back beginning w/c 26th July 2021.

This year due to COVID-19 restrictions, the TALKFEST events will take place virtually using Microsoft Teams and they have also set up a freephone telephone number so that anyone who isn’t able to use Microsoft Teams is able to dial in and listen.

They will be holding two events, a morning and an evening session, to enable as many people as possible to join:

  • Tuesday 27th July 6:00pm
  • Thursday 29th July 10:00am

TALKFEST is a community engagement initiative, and its purpose is to inform local communities about changes and developments to health and social care in St Helens. They also use it as an opportunity to engage with local communities about various topics and listen to views and feedback from those who use their services.

The topics at these sessions will cover:

·         COVID-19 update from Public Health

·         Preparing for Autumn and beyond

·         Saving lives during winter

·         Communities update from Halton and St Helens VCA

TALKFEST is a way of engaging with as many different people and communities in St Helens as possible including schools, workplaces, community, partners and third sector and voluntary organisations. Please share this information with your groups so we can ensure as many people as possible can get involved.

If you are running COVID-secure face to face sessions and you would like Paul Steele (Engagement, Involvement, Communications and Patient Experience Lead) to come and talk to your group in person or a run a dedicated virtual session for your group on the above topics, please get in touch by emailing [email protected] or calling 01744 457212
