Go Active the way you want to
19/04/2016
Whatever the age, ability, interest or fitness level, Go Active has something for all – and it has recently expanded its membership options, allowing residents to Go Active the way they want to.
Now, in addition to the Go Bronze, Silver, Gold and Platinum memberships, which grant varying access to the borough’s four fitness, health and leisure centres – Parr, Queens Park, Selwyn Jones and Sutton – there’s the Go Classes membership.
Go Classes is designed for those who don’t want to sweat it out in the gym, or get their hair wet in the pool, focusing instead on the available range of excellent group sessions, developed and provided by Go Active and Freestyle Fitness, such as Aeromix, Zumba, yoga and Pilates.
Go Classes is competitively priced too, at just £22.95 per month for unlimited access or £4.90 for individual sessions.
Go Active provides many opportunities to enjoy indoor and outdoor sport and fitness activities in quality facilities, and their friendly Fitness Instructors are always on hand to offer support and advice whenever it is needed.
Selwyn Jones Sports Centre, Parr Swimming & Fitness Centre and Queens Park Health & Fitness all have modern Fitness Suites, featuring state-of-the-art Life Fitness cardio-vascular and weight resistance equipment, and there are pools located conveniently across the borough.
To guide residents along theit way, Go Active provides individual or group inductions, opportunities to work out every day, and a service that creates tailor-made, personal programmes to help them achieve their goals.
For dedicated fitness fanatics, there's the Go Platinum membership. Go Active’s most complete package now grants access to evening racket sports, including badminton and squash, subject to availability.
Also new this year, apprentices are now accepted onto the concessionary Go Bronze Membership at £12.95 per month; Junior Gym users (from age 11) may use facilities until close (but must be accompanied by adult members after 5:30pm); and a Junior Day Pass has been introduced at £5, which grants unlimited access to pools and classes for one day.
