St Helens Mind - Men's Mental Health Project

The goal of this project is to provide a structured, supportive environment where men can learn coping strategies, improve emotional awareness, and develop a strong support network.

This project aims to deliver a support program for men aged 18-25. The program will consist of four 12-week cohorts per year, each supporting 8 participants. The goal is to provide a structured, supportive environment where men can learn coping strategies, improve emotional awareness, and develop a strong support network. 

Delivery Plan 

The program will be delivered in four cohorts per year, each lasting 12 weeks and supporting 8 participants. Each week will focus on a specific topic, with activities designed to achieve the outlined objectives.

  • Understanding Suicide and Mental Health
  • Stress Management
  • Emotional Awareness
  • Building Resilience
  • Healthy Relationships
  • Self-Care and Wellbeing
  • Dealing with Anxiety
  • Overcoming Depression
  • Goal Setting and Motivation
  • Mindfulness and Relaxation
  • Reflection and Moving Forward.
